Ignition programme featured at 'Tackling Domestic Violence' Conference

The successful Bracknell Forest Domesic Abuse Perpetrator Service (DAPS) was presented at a national conference in Westminster  today. The programme is operating in social services, aimed at fathers from families where a Child Protecion Plan in in place due to domestic abuse concerns.

The innovative two-phase one-to-one programme of engagment and treatment was developed by Ignition in response to Bracknell's wish to reduce the numbers of children on CPPs and being removed from familes.

Previously, the DAPS and the programme behind it has been the focus of a well-attended webinar organised by the organisation research in practice.
