Dr Mark Farrall has been confirmed as independent consultant to a new domestic violence initiative under Portsmouth City Council.
Amy Ford, the coordinator of the project, is a forensic psychologist with a background in criminal justice and recognises the need for research-based practice in domestic abuse work.
Ignition's track-record of effective innovation in programme development, and the company's evidence-based approach led by Mark, convinced Amy that Ignition could add real value to the development process.
Dr Farrall said "I'm really pleased to be working with Amy; we aim to effective develop interventions which match treatment flexibly to need and risk, rather than follow the common 'one size fits all' approach with no evidence base".
